urban permaculture gardens and food forest for yow media
This suburban lot was entirely redesigned on permaculture principles for a TV show about growing food (should be released in early 2025).
A family of 3 plus one dog is living on the property, about 0.6 acres (2600 m²). The family’s goals being as simple as cultivating their own biological food, and share it with ther friends & neighbours.
Features such as edible cactus front yard garden, a small plants nursery, a gathering area under the shade of avocado, olive, starfruit trees. A young food forest, raised beds, composting station, kid’s playground, passionfruit and dragonfruit trellis vines and a low maintenance edible yard were designed and planted.
Producing this first episode was such a great moment, meeting the Florida team, the amazing actors, the producers and cameramen has been a beautiful moment of working collectively for bringing a better future to any soul wanting to join the freedom movement.
